Our Athletic Family mourns the loss of Fred Parnell. Fred was one of a kind and the most staunchest supporter of the Juniata High School Football Program.

I (A.D. Quici) sat down with Fred last week and we talked about the future and history of the program. For those of you that know Fred and follow his Juniata Football page, you he had a steadfast policy to not mention individuals by name. I can affirm to you that he holds our coaches and athletes in high regard. He was very complimentary to our former and current staff (even when they wear blue pants) and our current and former athletes. He has been around the program a long, long time. He has felt the triumph of victory and the pain of defeat.

Fred’s football knowledge and friendship will be missed by many.
